Dementia Services at Ramsey Health Centre Posted on 11 Nov 2021

The Alzheimer’s Society have been supporting clinics for our patients, their family and carers living with Dementia at Ramsey Health Centre since 2019 and from June last year this service was  extended to include those in Care and also those who are pre -diagnosis or concerned about their memory.

A Dementia Adviser from the Alzheimer’s Society will be providing a telephone consultation service for Ramsey Health Centre on the second Wednesday of every other month, providing support, information and guidance to people with dementia, pre dementia diagnosis and their carers; helping to maintain their independence, improving their sense of well-being, and putting them in more control of their lives.  They can offer advice about the range of services and benefits that are available to you.

The next clinic is planned for Wednesday 8 December.   If you would like to book an appointment for a telephone consultation with the Dementia Adviser, please contact the Ramsey Health Centre on 01487 812611.  Appointment times are for 45 minutes each and we hope this will continue to provide a valuable and supportive resource for you.
